I want to introduce you to one of my gorgeous Delicious Wellbeing participants Angela Fogarty.
Angela has gone from Tired, Sluggish and Fed up with focusing on weight loss and fad diets to Energetic, Happy and empowered in a more balanced approach to healthy living and eating.
Angela has been kind enough to share her journey with us……………………..
Angela, Tell us a little bit about yourself and your family
I’m a mum of two gorgeous little girls, an almost 4 yr old and a 1 yr old. I’m very passionate about wellbeing and looking after myself and my health. I have always hated the labels of “I’m Paleo or I’m Vegan” my approach has always been everything in moderation. In the last 3 years I have been running a business from home www.pregfit.com.au where I have been able to support mums to be in their health and wellbeing journey through our products and blog.
In the Delicious Wellbeing program I have been able to gather so much knowledge to improve my own health and have given me tools to share with others.
How were you feeling when you came across the Delicious Wellbeing program?
Before I came across the Delicious Wellbeing program I was really annoyed with all the fad diets out there. I wanted to deepen my knowledge in my health journey to improve the level of care to myself, my family and the people who come across my blogs. I was also feeling quite lacking in energy and sluggish.
Did you have any health symptoms when you started the program?
I have always had gut issues but I never realised that it was not normal… I always thought it was just the way it was.. silly I know! But facing the music and actually realising I needed to make some changes. It wasn’t that hard because the Delicious Wellbeing program gave me the knowledge and tools I needed.
What had you tried to help get your health on track before starting the program
I’ve tried the lot! Doctors, dietitians, natural therapies, fad diets. My whole life has been a constant battle with weight!
What was your favourite thing about the Delicious Wellbeing program?
I loved how simple Jess makes the learning material but very comprehensive at the same time. My favourite component was the digestion part and learning about Bone broth – so simple but yet so powerful!
What benefits did you experience once you finished the program?
I feel my major take home was that being healthy is much more than just weight management. I’m so much more conscious with my choices but its not restrictive you can still enjoy life and good food. And my family loves the recipes especially the breakfast ones!
Did you have any improvement in any health symptoms?
My gut is so much healthier now. I know what to look for and I know what triggers me and how to fix it! And I feel the energy shift, I’m less tired and happier.
